Braun Disposable protective caps ensure hygienic use without cleaning or disinfecting the sensor, thus preventing cross-contamination. It is important that the Braun ThermoScan protective caps on the temperature sensor are replaced after each use. In addition, replacing the brown protective cap does not collect dirt and ear wax after the measurement, thereby blocking the sensor area, which can lead to inaccurate measurement results. Fitting a new braun hygiene cap each time ensures that dirt or ear wax doesnt build up and clog the sensor window, which could lead to inaccurate temperature readings. Braun Thermoscan Hygiene Caps Ear Thermometer Covers are made BPA and latex free and are suitable for all Braun ThermoScan IRT ear thermometers.

  • The Braun ThermoScan will not work unless a lens filter is attached
